Journey Beyond Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

A. General Terms and Conditions:

These terms and conditions apply to all Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers.
By purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Journey Beyond Gift Voucher, you:

2.1 agree to be bound by these terms and conditions; and

2.2 warrant that you will comply with these terms and conditions and all applicable laws.

If you are giving a Journey Beyond Gift Voucher to another person, you agree to ensure that such person is aware of the terms and conditions that apply to the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher and the relevant expiry date of the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers are issued in Australian currency (AUD) and may only be redeemed in AUD.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers are redeemable on Participating Experiences as listed in section B of these terms and conditions. Please refer to ‘redemption details’ in section B for information on how to redeem your Journey Beyond Gift Voucher.
Unless otherwise stated on the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher, Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers are valid for use within 3 years from the date of purchase.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers may only be applied up to the maximum value loaded onto the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher which is unspent at the time of use. Where the cost of purchase of a Participating Experience exceeds the available balance of the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher, you must pay the excess amount by another payment method.
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or any other form of currency.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in whole or part during the validity period. Where used in part, no change will be given. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases but will not be refunded or credited when the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher expires.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers must not, without the prior written consent of Journey Beyond, be resold or offered for resale (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a Journey Beyond Gift Voucher is sold or used in breach of this condition, Journey Beyond may (without limiting any of its other legal rights) cancel or render invalid the relevant Journey Beyond Gift Voucher without a refund, and the holder of the relevant Journey Beyond Gift Voucher may be refused redemption of the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher. Journey Beyond will take reasonable steps to notify you of our intention to cancel or render invalid a Journey Beyond Gift Voucher within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher pursuant to this clause.
Journey Beyond may cancel or render invalid any Journey Beyond Gift Voucher (including any available balance) which Journey Beyond reasonably determines was purchased at any time or in any way (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) by fraudulent means. Journey Beyond may cancel any bookings made using any fraudulent Journey Beyond Gift Voucher which may include any non-refundable amounts. Journey Beyond will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you if you purchase or attempt to redeem any fraudulent Journey Beyond Gift Voucher. You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to redeem any available balance on any fraudulent Journey Beyond Gift Voucher and that Journey Beyond will not be obliged to hold such balance on file for you or otherwise redeem or exchange that Journey Beyond Gift Voucher.9. You are responsible for the use and security of your Journey Beyond Gift Voucher. We will not replace any Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers that are lost or stolen. You are liable for all transactions using or relating to your Journey Beyond Gift Voucher, except those caused by fraud or negligence by Journey Beyond or its employees.
Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers may only be used for payment against a valid booking which contains the Journey Beyond Gift Voucher holder’s name. Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers cannot be used as payment for any other outstanding booking/tax invoice or as payment towards a travel agent credit account.
Unless otherwise expressly stated by us, the purchase of Journey Beyond Gift Vouchers do not earn points, credits or rewards in loyalty programs.12. Personal information collected in relation to your Journey Beyond Gift Voucher will be handled in accordance with Journey Beyond’s Privacy Policy which is available at www.journeybeyond.com
Where a Journey Beyond Gift Voucher is used (or partly used) to purchase a Participating Experience, the standard Terms and Conditions applicable to that Participating Experience apply. These terms and conditions are available the website for each Participating Experience.
The laws of South Australia apply to these terms and conditions and any disputes arising in relation to them, and you and Journey Beyond submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
